πŸš‡ Riding the Tube: My First Experience

I have been used the metro before in Istanbul. So I know how trains work. I have used Marmaray, Kadikoy-Sabiha Gokcen line, even the driverless one in Karakoy. But the London Underground? Wow. It is very different. And by β€œdifferent,” I mean louder, older, and so much confusing.

🎧 It’s So Loud

I was not ready for the noise. The train was screeching the whole time. I thought something was broken, but no. My aunt said it was normal. I almost covered my ears.

πŸš‡ The Trains Are… Old

In Istanbul, the trains are clean and quiet. In London, some of them look like they’ are from 100 years ago. The seats are small, the ceilings are low, and there is like no air conditioning. The Elizabeth Line was nice and modern, but the others? Not so much.

🚢 Some Stations Are Huge

I got a little lost. There are so many tunnels and signs and people walking fast. We had to go up stairs, down stairs, turn corners… I held onto my mum so I wouldn’t left behind.

πŸ“Where I Went

We used the Elizabeth Line first, then changed to the Jubilee Line. That train was older, and super crowded. I stood up the whole time because there were no seats empty.
